I have been practicing yoga for over a decade now. Upon discovering Tara Stiles – I learned that yoga can be done at home and is accessible always. Just the act of taking a breath and tuning into the body is yoga.

I’ve followed along with Yoga with Adrienne, and began to build my own flows and practice. Finally, I enrolled in yoga teacher training with Brett Larkin in spring of 2021. Yoga has taken a place of greater importance in my life ever since.

Meditation is another tool I use personally, and again – can be done anytime and anywhere. In line, in traffic, when enjoying a quiet moment on a dock in the early morning, when grieving, when in pain. Breathwork and visualizations are my favourite styles.

Meditation and yoga bring us into the now – where life is happening.

I believe in sharing good things, so I want to share these resources with you. I grapple with depression and anxiety. It’s been over a decade since I was diagnosed with PTSD. I’ve done a lot of work with a therapist in the years since, and continue to heal and befriend myself. I am a mental health advocate, and I think we need to talk about the tough stuff – with love.

Between yoga, meditation, taking good care of the body, and practicing self love – I am evolving into the best version of myself. I’d love to share what I am learning, and maybe it will help you too!
