Nice to Meet You

Welcome to WLE. A place where breathwork, meditation and accessible yoga can be found.

WHO

I’m Esta. I grew up in the West coast of Canada and moved to the prairies over fifteen years ago. I love it here, even when it’s super cold, there’s sunshine. 🌞 I started learning yoga online over a decade ago, then went to studio classes, and during the pandemic, I took my Yoga Teacher Training 200 Hour course. I then immediately signed up for my 300 Hour, which I am completing now – at a slower pace.

I love to laugh, am always seeking the silver lining and I fill my cup with garden time, meditation, yoga and writing. My husband and the two children in my life are a constant source of love and joy. They keep my love cup filled, inspire me and keep me present – all of which are main goals these days. 🧘

WHAT

My mission is to bring yoga tools into modern life. When I say yoga tools, I don’t just mean yoga asana – the physical yoga poses themselves. I mean the breathwork, meditation, observation of the self, and an ever-evolving level of connection and love towards the self and others. 🙏

WHEN

The tools I am sharing, are meant to be accessible on the timing of the people they serve. The schedule of new WLE content is broken down below, and will be recapped in The WLE Weekly, a newsletter highlighting the guided meditation, yoga pose breakdown and thoughts with love from me, sent out Saturday mornings at 9 AM (CST). The beauty of building these libraries is that they can be visited on your own schedule and paused! unlike a studio class 😉

Meditation Monday – Guided Meditation of the week is posted on my Spotify and YouTube.

Yoga Pose Breakdown Wednesday – Weekly review of a single yoga pose is posted on YouTube.

Thoughts With Love is posted here on withloveesta.ca and highlighted in The WLE Weekly sent out Saturday morning. Join the mailing list or tune in to the channels that suit you!

WHERE

Largely online, the WLE library of guided meditations and yoga poses breakdowns will be housed here and on my social media channels. I want you to be able to tune in on your own timing and learn and absorb how best works for you. This project has been a long time in the making, I started it over three years ago! The value of technology and the ability to share over time and space is not lost on me – scroll down to the bottom of the page to follow me on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook 🥳

I am currently accepting a small number of 1:1 clients, more on that can be found in my post here.

WHY

I feel called to share. At my core, I am a deeply loving creature. I derive much joy from giving to others, nurturing and teaching. Just a few weeks ago, I left my nine to five to pursue this passion project with more focus. In conjunction with being a stay-at-home wife/stepmom (a role I truly feel born to step into!) – this corner of the internet is where I will be tending to these seeds. Manifesting a garden full of flowers to share with all! 🌼

HOW

Guided meditation, yoga videos and blog posts are the mediums I am focusing on now, but that too will evolve over time. My goal is to share tools people can learn and adapt to their own style – and then use again and again. 🧰

The blog posts to come will be less formal, but it’s always nice to meet the person behind the handle/blog/video! Is there anything I missed in my introduction? Leave me a comment below!

I will leave this post with a final thought, something I have been pondering:

why does saying no, taking time for self-care, and setting boundaries have such a rep for being “selfish” – when the results are so selfless?

When I fill my own cup, take time for self-care, meditation, and journalling… I am a better partner, mother figure, friend, entrepreneur, yoga teacher. I can give from a deeper well.

When I say no, I define what it is that I want. I do not deceive myself or others by saying yes when I really want to decline. This truth allows me to be even more invested in my yes’s – and my loved ones will know that I say what I mean to them.

When I create boundaries, I am extending the life of a relationship. One cannot give endlessly without exhaustion, resentment and bitterness creeping in at the edges. Boundaries on my time, space, and energy, allow me to preserve these precious resources for what I want to give to.
